It is amazing, what we are open to as Christians, we carry immense insights to deeper spiritual realities, but many don’t understand how to function and participate in these realms.

Luke 16:8(b) …for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. (KJV)

Here are some of my personal insights to walking and functioning in the spiritual world.

1. Carry the right understanding.

Wisdom gives us primarily the keys to deeper access and the patterns and the how’s of walking and participating in the spirit world. Invest in the word, because this gives you the wisdom thread the streets of heaven and spiritual realm.

Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. (KJV)

The primary responsibility of functioning the spiritual realms is given to us as Christians and this starts by us having the right knowledge about these realms.

2. Disrupt demonic activities.

The greater always carries a higher authority. Whenever you see any demonic activities that comes to disrupt the purposes of God because they always do, step in and act on behalf of heaven; cast them out and command them to leave.

Acts 16:18 .But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. (KJV)

We judge matters of the spirit world, that’s what Paul did when he met the lady who was operating by the spirit of divination; He rebuked it and restored spiritual order.

3. Communion with God.

It is amazing what God can reveal to you about the spirit world just because you have rubbed yourself with him enough to know his heart and purposes because everything under the sun carries a definitive line of purpose attached to it.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (KJV)

With constant communion with God, we get aligned to his timing and available to be used of him to influence and change the worlds that we operate and live in including the spirit world.

4. The Holy Spirit is the teacher.

The Holy Spirit is the power behind the creation of these worlds, ask him and he will teach you. That is the very reason why he was sent as primarily the teacher and advocate.

John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (NIV)

The Holy Spirit is there to teach you about all things including the spiritual realms, and how to participate in it starting from what has been written in your Bible. Develop a deep relationship with the Holy spirit.

Conclusion

The spiritual world has been opened to us as Christians and it’s high time we become more involved in its affairs because a lot is already out of order.

Here is a word of caution, you should never contradict the scriptures even in your quest for these truths about the spiritual realms and how to function and participate in its activities.
